You Will Fall Head Over Heels For These Decadent Dark Chocolate Rose Brownies

We cannot deny our love of all things rich and decadent, if you haven't been able to tell we believe everyday is a good day to indulge in something delightful! While we are usually all about the cheese pairings and charcuterie boards, February has us feeling like sharing the love in a deep dark and romantic kind of way.

What better way to say I love you than with our take on roses and a box of chocolates. Leave the cheap chocolates at the store. We are making something easy and oh so lovely for valentines day this year. Don't think we forgot the pairing! Rather than whipping up a cocktail this year, we suggest enjoying these brownies with a glass of port or your favorite dessert wine.

Why a port or dessert wine? While regular wine varies in flavors and style from bight and bubble to dark and tannic, Port is a fortified wine, increased the alcohol content and bringing and whole host of unique tasting notes to the mix, even inexpensive ports will have a delicious blend of berries, chocolate, and buttery caramel, the perfect accompaniment to a dark fudgy brownie.
